Asset Location Sharing

This feature in Pulse GPS allows you to share the location of an asset so that it can be viewed by a 3rd party without logging in.  Review this article and video to find out more.

Steps

1. When you select an asset in the list (or click on its icon on the map), a pop up box will appear with asset specific data and buttons.

2. The "globe" icon or Share asset link will allow you to share the location of your asset through a unique link for a specified period of time.

3. Select the duration that you want the link to be accessible then click Next.

4. Then provide the link to the user you want to share the location with.

5. Click on the same icon to Stop Sharing the location prior to the scheduled time out.

Video

- You will not have access to this feature on the Starter Package.

- The view will expire after the time period you selected.

- The view uses Open Street Maps, not Google Maps.
