Basic Definitions

GPS tracking system Trackd is a cloud based software platform that promotes advanced security, ensures precise location detection and total visibility into the performance of your vehicles and assets through real-time monitoring. It has powerful analytics, alert and notification systems, allowing for early response to an emergency. 

Unit tracking includes:
  1. detecting the unit position and watching its movements on the map
  2. observing the dynamic change of various unit parameters such as speed, fuel level, temperature, voltage etc
  3. management of units (sending commands and messages, assigning jobs and routes, adjusting notifications etc) and drivers (phone calls, SMS, works shifts)
  4. control of unit movement along a specified route
  5. interpreting information delivered from the unit in various kinds of reports (tables, charts)
  6. and much more
The units can be monitored on the computer screen. The data received during the monitoring can as well be exported to files of different formats. 



  1. Unitis a vehicle, equipment, person, animal or other moving or stationery object that is being monitored
  2. Unit Group: a series of monitoring units that are combined together on the basis of a certain feature or without it. 
  3. Track: a line drawn on the map to show how a unit moved during the indicated period
  4. Geofences: is an area on the map that controls units' activity in these areas or outside of them
  5. Messages: gives access to units' database. You can view all messages received from the units (coordinates, parameters, speed etc)
  6. Job: a job is a set of actions to be performed on a predefined schedule. 
  7. Notifications: you can be notified about any unit activity you consider significant. It can be speeding, location, sensor values etc
  8. Reports: report on activity of a unit or group of units in the form of tables, graphs etc
  9. Drivers: you can create and manage the list of drivers working for you (this is particularly useful when several drivers work with the same unit)
