Custom Reports allow you to create a customised version of an existing report by selecting which columns (and their order) you want in the report, the data sort order and how the data rows are to be grouped and summarised. The output formats can also be selected from a number of options including CSV, Excel, ExcelPivot, HTML and PDF (available options will depend on the type of report).
Report Views can be selected as Favourites to allow you to access them quickly, and can also be used in Scheduled Reports to provide you with push reporting that is tailored to how you want to see the data.
This video will show you the steps on how to create a customised a report.
1. Click on Reports tab and select Custom Reports from the list.
2. Then click New on the next page.
3. Choose the report that you want to customise from Select Base Report drop down.
4. Assign a name to the Custom Report Name field and select the Output Format from the options.
5. Select the fields that you want to include in the report from the Available Columns list.
6. Double click on each field to move it to the Selected Columns list.
Info: Click the up and down buttons to adjust the order position of the fields. You may also use the other arrow buttons to make changes within the column.
7. Select different options from Column Totals drop down list.
8. Choose what Grouping option to apply. Records can be grouped by a certain column or field.
9. Then select the Sort Order. This allows records to be sorted according to value, either ascending or descending.
10. Click on Custom Reports from the drop down to see the custom report created.
Info: Click the Next and Back buttons to move through the Wizard. Click on the Save button to finalise the Custom Report.
Alternatively, you may create Custom Reports by following the steps below:
1. Click on the blue Reports icon on the dashboard.
2. The All Reports page will be shown up. You may then select the report that you want to customise.
3. Click on Advance Options and select Customise Report from the drop down list.
4. Give your report a name then click next.
5. Then follow Steps 5-10 from the above instructions.
