How to Activate Recovery Mode (Video)

Another feature that users can take advantage from Pulse GPS is the Recovery Mode option which is useful in recovering lost asset. 
The video below will show you the steps on how to activate Recovery Mode for an asset. 

1. Click on the Assets tab and select Manage Assets from the drop down.
2. The list of assets will show up. Select the one that you want to activate the recovery mode on. 
3. Then click on the Gear icon located at the far right opposite of the asset.
4. Select Enter Recovery Mode from the list.
5. Set the Recovery Mode expiry then click on Send Message to proceed.
      ***By default, the timeout is set to 6 hours from the time it was activated.
      ***The timeout can be set from 30 minutes to 24 hours for the device. It is an absolute expiry time rather than a time-span from when it was received. 
6. To deactivate, simply click on the same Gear icon and select Leave Recovery Mode.
7. Hit Send Message to complete the request.
