User Permissions

User Permissions

A User has a unique name and password. Users can login to Trackd, where they can control their units with the help of different tools and features. Different users can have different access rights and accordingly, see a different set of monitoring units and other system objects, create their own geofences, report templates etc.

User Access Rights

Standard User
A Standard User can view units and unit groups, run reports, use units in jobs, notifications and routes. They can view items in the Resource but unable to create, edit or delete items. They are unable to manager users.

Power User
A Power User is a level below a Super User and can do the same as what a super user can do other than manage users.

Super User
A Super User can do most things in the account except add/delete units, view/edit connectivity settings, delete messages, change sensors, commands, trip detector and fuel consumption. These permissions should be assigned to the administrator(s) of a customer account.

See Trackd User Permissions Settings document attached outlining access of each level user.
