How to Set Up Alerts for Driving Score Calculation
The Driving Score feature relies on data from safety-related alerts to accurately measure driver performance. To ensure the score is calculated correctly, you must first create alerts for the specific driving incidents you want to track. This guide shows you how to set up these essential alerts.
- In the main navigation menu, click Alerts.
- Select the Set up alert tab.
- Under the Triggers section, click the Select a trigger dropdown menu.
- Choose a safety-related trigger that contributes to the driving score. Common triggers include:
- If the trigger has multiple subtypes, check the boxes next to the specific incident Types you want to monitor.
- Complete the remaining steps to configure the alert, including assigning it to specific Vehicles / Drivers, setting up Notifications, and defining any automated Actions.
- Click Save to create the alert.
- Repeat these steps for each type of safety incident you wish to include in your fleet's Driving Score calculation.
